January Stamp Camp

Good afternoon, everyone!  Hope you're having a wonderful Monday!  I'm very grateful today because our street got plowed so we can finally make it into our driveway again without bottoming out the car..  Just sharing the 5 cards we made at Stamp Camp this weekend! And apparently the only way I can write things is if it's a picture caption today, so sorry if this is a bit small and hard to read.  This first card is intended to be a masculine Valentine's card - I know a lot of people struggle with making man cards, but I was inspired by Pootles for this one!

Here's an easy birthday card from the Sale-A-Bration freebie Hello.  Every time I look at it I get Adele's song stuck in my head, but at least it's a gooder!  I love how flexible this set is, with different choices for gender or friends.

This card was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest, however, the inspiration used the new heart stamp set/die from the Occasions Catalogue, which I do not have, so I improvised with an older Stampin' Up set I purchased second hand.  We painted on the stamp with sponge daubers to create the two tone effect.

This is one of my first attempts at using the aqua painters from Stampin' Up.  When I finished it at 11pm the night before class I wanted to cry - I thought it was awful!  But my hubby convinced me to go to bed, and it looked much better in the morning - and I think was actually one of the favorites from the party.  Go figure!  This uses another freebie stamp set from Sale-A-Bration, and I just love all the prettiness.

This last card features the Balloon Celebration bundle from the new Occasions Catalogue.  The background was created with different stamps in the set as well.  I LOVE this set - it is extremely versatile.  I especially love that the stamps are photopolymer so that you can see exactly what you're doing with the multiple layers.  Well, that's all for today, friends.  Hope you have a great rest of your day! <3 JEM

Christmas Goodies

Happy New Year, everyone!  Just doing a bit of catch up on the last few things I made in 2015.  Below is probably the most complicated card I've made to date, simply because it's a shaker card!  I was so thankful for the very detailed tutorial I found on Pinterest from Cindy.  I had to use a 1-3/8" punch as I didn't have a 1-1/4", but I think the sizing still turned out okay.  And don't worry, the beads I used weren't actually yellow (for the snow), they just look that way in the picture!

Here's the inside of the card.
Here's a gift I made for a friend: 5 3x3 cards and a box to match.  The box tutorial is from the amazing Pootles. Seriously, if you haven't checked out all her stuff - do it now.  You'll never have to wonder if anything can be created ever again!
And finally, here are three gift boxes I made for Christmas this year.  CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) from ShawnStamps, ZoKris, and the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue.  These are super easy to make using the Pillow Box thinlit dies.
And now, while I'm still in a "get work done" mood - I'm off and running - hope you liked these projects! <3 JEM
